Child Dolls

My tastes have always run to fashion or pop culture figures as opposed to the child doll.  However, if I look back over the years, arguably, some of my most successful projects have been in the child doll category.  A re-do of the classic Betsy McCall was fun and successful early in my business, but it was teaming up with a special group of incredible artists that pushed my work to new levels.  I teamed with Lynn Johnston, the cartoonist who does "For Better or For Worse", Jane O’Conner and Robin Preiss Glasser of Fancy Nancy fame, and the super talent, Mary Engelbreit.  Mary trusted me with her wonderful Anne Estelle which I had the pleasure to interpret for almost a decade.
